The purpose of this web site is a traditional one:

To improve conditions for ALL workers, internationally.

We are seeking to build an international movement

to fight for the six hour day for ALL WORKERS.

May 1 is "May Day" which has its origins in 8 hour day

movement of over 100 years ago. Today marks the

official date of a renewed effort to organize the working

class into an effective political instrument for positive

social change. We have simple demands.

We believe all people are entitled to "basic necessities"

like food, water, electricity, a home, health care, education,

and opportunities for employment and self-betterment.

The Bush-Cheney War Machine wastes billions on a never

ending war on terror that terrorizes foreign populations with

technological Death and the threat of Economic and Social

Disorder. At home, the Bush Administration attempts to limit

our Liberties and jeopardizes our Security.

Leading invasions abroad and massacring thousands of

innocent people in the face of global opposition.

We must depose our Tyrant. The ballot box is our only hope.

CAPITALISM is not what makes America great.

It is our love for Truth, Life, Liberty, Freedom, Equality,

Democracy, Justice and Peace that represent the great

American values.

If We the People can learn to unite, we the WORKERS

of the world will determine a better way of doing things.

This means higher wages, more free time, more freedoms,

and greater economic equality among all people.

Come back to this site, it will continue to grow and there

is much history of the 6 hour movement that I am eager to

share and discover. I am greatly indebted to the Knights

of Labor of 1886 from Richmond, Virginia for much of my

understanding and inspiration in this great struggle.
